We went out to Hinatawada to see the ume (plum) blossoms on Sunday along with several thousand other folk.

It was pretty and smelled nice.

We wanted to go for a walk up a mountain afterwards, but we spent too much time under the trees eating cheese and pickle sandwiches, and ran out of time. Plus, my heart was beating in my neck and was threatening to pop straight out my mouth. We just walked up the hill for an hour then came back down to look at the trees again and drink more beer.

We then took the express train back and landed in Nakano, where we ate sushi and such.

And visited Nakano Broadway. The happiest place on earth.

Beacause you can buy all sorts of crap there.
